Philippe Jenney
started his creative career in photography in 1985. A
Washington, D.C. native, Philippe received his first editorial
assignment in the summer after his first year in
college. A flurry of assignments followed for local
magazines such as Washingtonian, Regardies and Dossier and led
to Philippe signing a contract with Time Warner
Media. Over the next 5 years, photojournalism
assignments for Time Warner, dozens of national and
international magazines and newspapers sent Philippe to over
25 countries on four continents. In 1992, Philippe
bacame disillusioned with the pain, suffering and violence he
witnessed on assignments in the Middle East, Asia and Eastern
Europe.

The first of several
transformations of Philippe's photography and creative
services career began with the pursuit of commercial and
advertising assignments. Philippe and his family
relocated to Palm Beach County in early 1993.

Philippe maintained his
relationship with Time Warner through assignments with The
Review Newspaper Group and American Lawyer Media. The
tri-county Daily Business Review afforded Philippe the
opportunity to continue with editorial work while developing a
busy commercial career. In 1997, the demand for
additional creative services such as graphic design, digital
imaging, Internet development and marketing warranted the
opening of a full service advertising and creative services
agency. Under the moniker Argent Creative, the comany set
itself apart from other agencies by having all creative
services be performed in-house.

Over the next 5 five years
Philippe and his talented staff produced work for local,
regional and national advertising clients. By the year
2000, Argent Creative grew to number 19 employees.
Photography and Art Direction transformed Philippe's career
again as a creative broker of marketing and advertising
talent. Argent Creative then merged with CEA Advertising
before reemerging in the market place in 2002 as TTNW Visual
Communications.
Philippe primarily focuses on
producing images for editorial publications, commercial
enterprises, fashion designers and advertising
clients. His photo archive has exceeded 600,000
images. He is currently editing images from assignments
in Turkey and Eastern Europe for a collection sponsored by DC
Artworld in Washington D.C.
His style of photography is
heavily influenced by photographers such as Albert Watson,
Isabel Snyder, Mark Seliger and Michel Comte. Philippe
credits photographers such as Herb Ritts, Spike Jones and
Gregory Heisler for paving the way toward expanding his
repertoire to include video, design and digital
imaging.
